Insurance is essential if you wish to practice Aikido.
The insurance cost is included in the UKA annual membership fee of the £32per year (concessions for unemployed etc. may be available). UKA membership is essential if you wish to have your grades formally recognised.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to join the UKA we have a low-cost cover that can be provided for £2.50 per year.
This insurance is to cover you against causing injury to other parties whilst practicing in the dojo.
The current scheme in operation for the Crosby Tenshinkan Dojo only is:
Your annual insurance payment will be covered when you pay your mat fees monthly by direct debit (see fee policy). Therefore once you have paid your first months mat fees you will not have to pay the additional UKA £32 insurance.
You will need 2 passport photos along with your initial fee when you start to practice.
